Dancing with the Animals
The Virginia Symphony hosted an evening at the Norfolk Zoo and played many children's classics such as "Peter and the Wolf." We went with the Minters: Melissa (we went to grad school together, but became friends through Sharon, Clay her hubby, Charlie 28 months old and Neil, 11 months) Our admission was free because we are members of the zoo and we enjoyed free food, music and pretty cheap beer:) Charlie and Ella danced up a storm!

Who took these pictures?
I know these pictures have nothing to do with Ella's blog... or do they? Pretty decent shots of the cat, but that side of the kitchen is not straight at all! Ella does like to carry around the camera saying cheese.....so who knows?
Maybe she was trying to tell me something about the cat. Ally is our cat that Ella loves to chase. She also likes to pick her up by her neck and carry her to me. She says, "Here you go mommy," and I am all, "ok, but I did not ask for or want the cat."
As bipolar as Ally is she as been great with Ella. When Ella is carrying her by her neck she stays very still. This is because she is being good or really she can't breathe. Anyway, Ally is in her final days. She is 12 and has never really been nice to me, but I still love her and I know Ella does as well. She is a part of our family and will be missed.
